What happens when I don't launch or record the Zoom session in a dual delivery timetabled event?

If you had a Zoom session timetabled and instead you chose to only deliver the face to face session ie did not start the Zoom session (or switched off recording mid Zoom session), there will be no recording to swap in from Zoom to Listen Again or only part of the lecture will be available.  In this case the students will see the Listen Again recording of the event if you are opted in. An automated email will be sent to you regarding this fault as follows:

This is an automated email from Listen Again, regarding the following teaching event:

Type:                Class/Seminar/Lab

Module:            #######

Date:                #######

Zoom ID:          ### #### ####

You are currently opted-in to recording this event type in Listen Again, but it looks like you may have changed your Zoom setting to prevent recording or stopped recording mid-session.

To fix this:

- If you want future events to be recorded. Please visit https://essex-university.zoom.us/profile/setting?tab=recording, log in when prompted, and enable 'Cloud Recording'.

- If you do not want future events to be recorded. Please visit http://listenagain.essex.ac.uk/secure/veto.aspx, log in when prompted, and change the relevant opt-out to 'Do not record'.

If you have questions about this import, or encounter problems with the recording. Please contact the Learning Technology Team, at ltt@essex.ac.uk.
