By the end of the Module, students will not only understand how epidemiological evidence is generated and deployed to inform global public health practice and policy but also leave with some powerful theoretical and analytical tools needed to pursue further studies beyond the Module or to advocate for and/or practise in global public health. To be more specific, students of the Module will be able to answer the following questions:
• What is global health epidemiology?
• What is the history of the field of global health?
• How is global health studied?
• In what direction is the field moving, and how can I get involved?
