MA Acting students may opt to undertake a 60 - credit practical Performance Project instead of the written dissertation option. For this module, students are expected to divide themselves into small groups in order to produce performance work of a professional standard from their own resources and research.

Students will research and work on their practical projects throughout Terms Two and Three, with an intensive period of performance preparation at the end of Term Three. Performance Projects will be presented at the end of Term Three in the School's Corbett Theatre and/or at other appropriate venues.

Throughout this process, students are required to keep a Reflective Diary in which they reflect on their research and rehearsal process. The content should outline the research and include bibliographic presentation of texts referred to as well as process and methodology used. Diaries are submitted for assessment after the completion of performances, normally no later than the end of September.
