EA169-4-FY : Stage Management Skills 1

The aims of this module are to:
* Introduce students to the roles and responsibilities of the Stage Management department in the theatre production process
* Introduce basic practical theory and practice
* Introduce students to methods and processes to interpret texts and designs effectively; think analytically; research possible outcomes; communicate ideas, possible solutions, and technical information
* Introduce students to the basic core practical Stage Management skills.
* Develop methods of problem solving, negotiation, and personal management;
* Develop the ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively
* Introduce students to the roles and responsibilities of the Production Manager within the theatre production process
* Introduce students to the importance of Health & Safety and risk assessment
