Module Description (updated 08 May 2018)
This module, covering the full year of your MA, involves producing an exhibition in the university's Art Exchange gallery which will open in May. You will work as part of a curatorial group with other students on the module to produce the entire exhibition. You will collectively decide on an exhibition theme or topic, research and identify objects or artworks, budget the exhibition and arrange transportation, exhibition design, advertising and marketing, produce a catalogue, and organise an accompanying program of educational events for students, schoolchildren and the local community.
This module MUST be taken with AR952 (exhibition individual project) and AR912 (managing galleries and exhibition projects).
