Aims and objectives
French Language Portfolio is part of the Languages for All programme. It aims to provide students with
a) an effective way to study the French language at their own pace and within their own set of priorities
b) the ability to build up the language skills which are most suitable to their individual needs
c) online advice and teacher feedback on completed portfolio tasks to ensure steady learning progress
d) the basic methods and tools necessary for language learning through self-study
e) The main goal of French Language Portfolio is to give students a flexible and adaptable way to increase their language proficiency. Although knowledge of essential grammar is part of the module, students can choose to focus on either speaking/listening or reading/writing. Through their studies and the additional language activities students also learn about life and culture in present-day France.
