This module introduces students to core physiotherapy knowledge and skills.
Students are introduced to the concepts of professional practice and patient centred care through variety of teaching and learning methods.
The core skills in musculoskeletal physiotherapy are critically explored.
Consideration is given throughout physiotherapy specific modules to the NHS constitution (2012), the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Standards of conduct, performance and ethics (2008), the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) Code of professional values and behaviour (2011).
