This module provides an opportunity for students to explore, reflect and learn about the limits and opportunities in applying psychoanalytic concepts to the study of organisations.

It comprises of:

* 4 theory seminars, based primarily on organisational case studies, and the theory underpinning the Group Relations Conference.

* 4 work discussion seminars, to which students will make presentations based on course learning. 2 of these seminars will also include reflective groups as part of the preparation and review of the Group Relations Conference.

* 1 residential Group Relations Conference. The conference is a 2 day learning event in which students have opportunities to explore the emotional culture of teams, the dynamics authority and power, and the nature of role taking and giving.
