The focus of this module is to prepare students for their role as autonomous practitioners upon qualification. It aims to enhance and broaden the professional competence of students, by allowing them to focus on an area of practice of their choice. This module also involves preparing the students in the use of evidence based management in specialist and complex clinical conditions seen in practice.
This module will use problem-based learning, expert practitioner and service user teaching to explore some case scenario bordering on evidence, clinical governance, continuous professional development and research based physiotherapy practice. The module will also focus on employability, equipping students with the appropriate skills for securing employement.
