This module offers the opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge necessary to manage product development projects in international business environment, with particular focus on product design methodologies and project management techniques. It focuses both on the hard side of managing global product development projects, referring to time/resource management and business/marketing analytics with spreadsheet modelling, as well as the soft issues such as idea generation/selection and teamwork that must be dealt with in order to ensure success of the product development projects. The module covers the core principles of global managing product design and development and the key elements required to bring projects to successful fruition.
