This module builds upon students' understanding of anatomy, physiology and neurology from year 1 of the programme. Students will be deepen their knowledge of the anatomy, physiology and neurology of eating and drinking difficulties and develop knowledge and understanding of assessment and intervention approaches to dysphagia management in readiness for practical application in the placement setting.
